The Challenge

Tracking a Large Facility’s Operations

Tracking and scheduling daily maintenance requirements from tenants and Boustead staff for the sprawling MyTOWN Shopping Centre, which totals 1.6 million square feet, posed a significant challenge for Boustead’s facilities team. Realizing that the challenge would intensify over time, Boustead decided to improve its maintenance and inspection management capabilities.

In 2019, Boustead implemented Yardi Facility Manager, which automates and simplifies inspection tracking, work order management and team communication for the mall.

Expanded Service and Visibility

As a mobile solution, Yardi Facility Manager lets Boustead’s service technicians manage their service requests, and inspections in the field, without returning to an office. Custom dashboards and full integration with Yardi Voyager maintenance functions give Boustead’s facility managers full visibility into equipment status, maintenance activities and costs, driving better overall property performance. The solution also tracks equipment warranties and notifies Boustead’s team of impending expirations.
